Framing the end of a secondary quad at Bowie State University, the Christa McAuliffe Residential Community anchors the campus and serves as home base for 459 students. The fully furnished mix of two, three and four bedroom suites gives students a variety of living options.
Named after the BSU alumna who died in the Challenger explosion, the residential community provides residents with private lawn areas and public yards linking to the campus. The building’s high ceilings, traditional architecture and picturesque setting enhance the project’s collegiate feel.
Years after the opening of the Christa McAuliffe Residential Community, Bowie State University and Grimm + Parker Architects worked tgether on Student Union Building.
